I would love to take my Partner on a romantic trip. I could not think of anything better to celebrate our engagement by taking a river cruise. There are some great destinations, the only difficult part would be choosing which destination!

I am 61 and have never felt better in my own skin. I have a very happy home life with my husband and son. Unfortunately, my parents are both dead, my Dad from a heart attack at the age of 60 and my Mum from a brain tumour at 71. Ms Liz Jones seems a very unhappy and bitter woman but she shouldn't take out her own frustrations on the rest of us.

Hi AMG
Great article. I already do some of the things whilst walking and my foods more or less match his recommendations. I will certainly do these other exercises daily. He certainly knows his onions!! Jean Girdwood

Thanks for your comments and best wishes Margaret. Really glad to hear that you are now fit and well.

Coincidentally I was invited on a training and sailing holiday with Graham Price in the South of France - possibly the same one. I would have loved to have gone but it coincided with the birth of my grand-daughter and, as it turned out, my breast cancer diagnosis. Hopefully he will ask me again next year.

So far I have only read Graham's book but would very much like to explore this idea of positive acceptance further. It really did help me get to grips with my diagnosis and it's a philosophy that helps me cope with the not so good days. 'What is, is! has become a part of my regular vocabulary.

The Penny Brohn centre is one of the other areas I am keen to know more about. The women in my breast cancer support group are full of praise for the Bristol Clinic.

Unfortunately, there is always so much to do and my blog is way behind. I am actually half way through chemo now and can just about see some light at the end of the tunnel.

Do keep in touch Margaret.

All the very best for 2012.

Love
