Treat your friends, family and yourself to the ultimate wine choice this Christmas with Vins de Provence rosé. While rosé is typically thought of as a summer drink, an increasing number of us are turning to this wine for the festive season each year – both as a delicious accompaniment to your holiday meals or to elevate any occasion with friends. And what better choice than the best rosé – a beautiful, refreshing bottle from Provence?

A Special Wine for A Special Occasion

Renowned for its stunning bottles – perfect for dressing the table or gifting to loved ones – and beautiful hues of pale pink, Provence rosé is the pinnacle of rosé production with a history dating back to 600 BC. With this experience comes historic know-how, allowing winemakers to build the identity of their rosés on a particularly solid foundation of quality, with over 90% of the region’s production dedicated to rosé.

From selecting the best grapes to choosing the best techniques used to retain freshness and extract the best flavours and colours, Vins de Provence winemakers meticulously consider every step of the process, leading to the highest-quality, world renowned rosé we have come to love.

A Sip of Provence – The Perfect Festive Pairing

The landscape of Provence is known for its beauty, with the Mediterranean Sea and rolling vineyards all adding to the idyllic backdrop that is Vins de Provence. But these natural elements – ample sunshine, Mistral winds and low precipitation – not only make Provence a beautiful place to visit, they also make Provence the perfect place for producing the very best rosé wines.

Home to three prestigious appellations – Côtes de Provence, Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence and Coteaux Varois en Provence – the Provence vineyard stretches all the way from the foothills of the Alps to the Mediterranean coast. This large diversity of terroirs results in a large variety of wines. From inland to the coast, depending on the topography and micro-climates, Provence winemakers use their exquisite know-how and traditions to get the very best from the land they are working.

Rosé wines from Provence therefore express nuances that range between sharp and fresh to rounded and warm, with exotic fruit or white flowers. This variety in tasting notes leads to not one Provence wine being the same and numerous festive pairings awaiting to be discovered.

Whether you’re serving smoked salmon blinis at a cocktail party, a delectable seafood platter for loved ones, or opening a magnum to enjoy with your Christmas centrepiece, the delicious, refreshing flavours of Provence rosé will add a bit of Provençal je-ne-sais-quoi to any meal.

So whatever the occasion, reach for the very best this Christmas – a glass, or bo8le, of elegant Provence rosé.
