Tesco Finest Chablis, £14.50

The region of Chablis lies in the north of the Burgundy area and has produced iconic wines from the Chardonnay grape since the 12th century. Tesco Finest Malbec, £9

Made by Argentina’s celebrated Catena Family winemakers. Hand picked grapes, from the foothills of regions east of the Andes. These perfectly ripened grapes, give the wine elegant blackberry and plum flavours. Lighter notes of blueberry and white pepper develop into a long fruity finish. Style: Spicy and full bodied Pairs with: Barbecued red meats, full flavoured pasta and mushroom dishes.

Cap Royal Bordeaux Rouge, £11

This is the 2020 vintage and offers a range of tantalising aromas in the bouquet. These include cherries, plums, blackberries, and vanilla.

On the palate the flavours multiply showing notes of oak, smoke, tobacco, liquorice, and earthy leather. The well balanced tannins add a marked dryness to the wine, making it an ideal companion for food. The finish is long, dry and fruity.

St Austell Proper Job Ale, £1.89

A powerful and authentic IPA that’s packed with citrus, pineapple, and grapefruit flavours, from its blend of West Coast American Willamette, Cascade and Chinook hops. Proper Job (5.5% abv) is big and bold on the palate, with a blend of American hops delivering a moreish punch with a crisp bitter finish.

Badger Triangle Foot Traditional Golden Ale, £5.25
