Crafted from vineyards in San Juan and Mendoza and bursting with crisp stone fruit and floral aromas, this bright and zesty white wine is a sunny season essential. Whether you are hosting a barbecue or heading to the beach, Graffigna Reserve Pinot Grigio is the perfect chilled companion.

This light and lively wine is effortlessly stylish. Graffigna Reserve Pinot Grigio is all about uncomplicated enjoyment — just pop it in the fridge and you are ready to go.

Peter Morrell, Editor, comments “The grapes for this elegant wine are grown in vineyards which are located at altitude. This exposes the grapes to extremes of day and night temperature which in turn create very aromatic wines. I’ve recently tasted the Reserve Pinot Grigio made by Graffigna, who have been producing wines for more than 150 years, and it is a good example of the effect of temperature variations.

The wine pours a light straw colour and the bouquet offers a basketful of fruit aromas, with peaches, apricot and apple being the most predominant. In the mouth if has a medium body but erring towards the bold and has a pleasant buttery texture. On the palate the fruit flavours remain and are joined by citrus, melon, floral and herbaceous notes. The finish is bright with persistent fruit flavours. This a good value wine that can be enjoyed on its own or with food.”

Serving tip: Best served cold, with sunshine and friends. Pairs perfectly with seafood, seasonal salads, or your favourite nibbles.

Graffigna Reserve Pinot Grigio 2023 is available now priced £9 per single bottle (£7.50 when on promotion from 8th until 29th September) at Sainsbury’s nationwide and online at sainsburys.co.uk. Pick up a bottle and make your summer moments unforgettable.
