Peter Morrell, Editor comments “I have been cooking with the Padova 28cm sauté pan and have achieved perfect results with some of the complex dishes I make. The pan itself is a credit to any kitchen coming in a range of stylish colours with a gold ergonomically shaped cool handle. Sauté pans have vertical sides rather than flared, like a frying pan, so when you are using a spatula, the ingredients are more contained. I have an induction hob and was impressed with the Magneto™ technology which gives excellent heat diffusion across the base of the pan.

“The pan has a lid which makes it ideal for cooking rice with the absorption method where one part rice and two parts stock cooked with other ingredients on a low heat will produce excellent paellas and pilafs. To put its no-stick credentials to the test I spread cooked noodles across the base of the pan and fried until the underpart was crispy, then poured in a mix of soy sauce, sesame oil and sugar. This is cooked until the sauce has become sticky and caramelised, it defeats other pans coated or uncoated, but the GreenPan cooked it to perfection and the nest of noodles slid out onto the plate with ease.
