Popular Chelsea Indian restaurant Kahani has designed special four-course menu for your festive enjoyment

With Diwali around the corner, Kahani – the acclaimed Indian restaurant by Chef Peter Joseph (formerly Head Chef at Michelin-starred Tamarind) – is celebrating the festival of lights with an elegant week-long dining experience in the heart of Chelsea.
From Monday 20th to Sunday 26th October, Kahani will serve a special four-course Diwali Menu, bringing together Chef Joseph’s signature blend of refined Indian flavours and British seasonal ingredients.
The menu (£65) captures the warmth and joy of Diwali through vibrant dishes such as Achaari Chicken Tikka with turmeric and pickling spices, Kerala Fish Curry with coconut and green chilli, and Morels Biryani with Peshawari Naan and Yellow Dal Tadka. A dedicated vegetarian menu (£60) offers highlights including Hara Bara Kebab with spiced potato and mango powder, Grilled Paneer Tikka, and Smoked Broccoli with tempered yogurt – all finishing with Assorted Indian Diwali Sweets and Kulfis.
Just a few minutes’ walk from the bustle of Sloane Square, Kahani is tucked away on Wilbraham Place behind an inviting green door that feels more like the entrance to a private members’ club. The restaurant sits below street level, elegantly designed and warmly lit – an intimate setting that perfectly complements the spirit of Diwali and Chef Joseph’s contemporary approach to Indian fine dining.
