Les Vignobles Foncalieu launch Ensedune

Ensedune: the essence of the Languedoc, will be unveiled by Les Vignobles Foncalieu at the London Wine Fair at stand E52

Produced from exogenous grape varieties planted in the soils around IGP Coteaux d’Ensérune, the Ensedune wines form an original range breaking new ground in the Languedoc. The non-native vines, which have been planted over the last 40 years, have been carefully nurtured through a combination of science and expertise by a group of passionate winemakers who have joined together and used their generations of expertise to produce the new range.

At Les Vignobles Foncalieu, the winemaker is always at the heart of all projects. The Ensedune range reflects this with each of the six cuvées signed by one of the winemaking team.

The range includes:
  • Ensedune Marsanne
  • Ensedune Muscat Sec
  • Ensedune Cabernet Franc Rosé
  • Ensedune Marselan
  • Ensedune Malbec
  • Ensedune Petit Verdot

The new 2016 vintages of Le Versant will also be on the stand with a new elegant and modern label. Le Versant is a collection of eight premium varietal hillside wines, developed to showcase the purest expression of each of the Languedoc grape varieties.

Later in 2017, Les Vignobles Foncalieu will celebrate its 50th anniversary since the formation of the co-operative in 1967. In that time, the team has continued to innovate with the thousands of winegrowers across the South of France.
