Experience Chef Olivier’s bold flavours at AVANI Avenida Liberdade Lisbon Hotel

Following an extensive €1.5 million refurbishment of the formerly known Tivoli Jardim Lisboa Hotel, AVANI Hotels launched their exciting debut hotel in Europe in April. Located just off the chic Avenida da Liberdade, amongst the designer boutiques and charming street cafes, guests will adore AVANI Avenida Liberdade Lisbon’s ideal setting. The new hotel reflects Lisbon’s quirky charm and AVANI’s ethos through a hotel that is dynamic, fun and stylish, with a real emphasis on creating social spaces, and the opportunity to explore Portugal’s bustling capital.

Capturing Lisbon’s remarkable food scene, the hotel is host to the vivacious and already enormously popular Olivier Avenida Restaurant, which boasts world-class contemporary, ingredient-focused food with strong Portuguese influences, as well as Chef Olivier’s unmistakable flare. Olivier’s original dishes can be found on the menu, such as the “Grilled Octopus vs Salted Cod Fish, alongside new additions, including double-sized starters meant for sharing, such as ‘Portobello mushrooms Stuffed with Green Asparagus and Gorgonzola,’ ‘Morcella and Oxtail Croquettes with Sweet Dijon and Green Apple’ and ‘Marinated Salmon Nigiri with Polish Salad’.

Tivoli Avenida Liberdade’s new and improved restaurants

Located in the heart of the Avenida de Liberdade, the hotel is an oasis in the middle of the bustling city. The hotel recently reopened in April after a major refurbishment, which saw the launch of new family rooms, with T/Kid gifts, a new art deco style brasserie, and revamped Sky Bar. This rooftop bar is a fusion of the best view in town with a cosmopolitan clientèle. If you enjoy a sundowner – with friends or in the company of that special someone, plus sounds from their resident DJ means the perfect end to your day.

Two new restaurants were also revamped. The ground floor Cervejaria Liberdade offers the best in fresh fish, seafood, sushi and ceviche. A highlight in this relaxing and cosmopolitan atmosphere is the central bar, where you can enjoy a quick meal or try a traditional Portuguese style seafood feast. The recently renovated Terraço Restaurant serves the finest in traditional Portuguese cuisine, combined with fresh, modern flavours and techniques. Praised Head Chef Tiago Bonito’s talent is sure to please even the most discerning foodie. Located on the 9th floor and ensuring a totally heightened experience, diners at Terraço Restaurant will delight in the stunning views over Lisbon’s city skyline.

Culinary Extravaganza at Conrad Algarve – November 2017

This November, the five-star Conrad Algarve will transform into a gastronomic hub for its second annual Culinary Extravaganza from 4th to 6th of November. A number of Michelin-starred, globally renowned chefs will descend on the five-star Conrad Algarve to create a series of exclusive ticketed culinary evens across the weekend.

Already established as a gourmet hotspot, with restaurant GUSTO headed up by 3 Michelin-Starred Chef Heinz Beck, the Culinary Extravaganza 2017 line-up will bring together a top selection of Chefs, Sommeliers, and Mixologists from Hilton’s worldwide fine dining portfolio and there will be a plethora of glamorous events on offer. These include the Grand Opening Event with live performances, a BBQ Brunch at Dado Q, and a Roof Garden Suite lunch to name a few. The weekend makes the most of all of Conrad Algarve’s outlets and the stunning surroundings, as well as showing off the famed Hilton gourmet offering.
