Celebrating 50 Years Of Tasty Tracklements
Back in 1970, William Tullberg made the first British wholegrain mustard. 50 years on William’s son, Guy, carries on his legacy. However, that one mustard has matured into eight varieties and over 40 award-winning chutneys, relishes and sauces. The range is still made by hand, to traditional recipes, using only the best natural ingredients to ensure the products taste as good as homemade (if not even better).
Mustard is an indispensable cooking ingredient. Where some sit firmly in the nose-tingling camp of smooth yellow mustard enjoying the spirited kick delivered to steaks, croque monsieur, burgers and even a ham sandwich, others prefer the texture and bite that the more mellow wholegrain brings to say mackerel or a sauce.
Now there’s an option which combines the best of both worlds – NEW Hot Wholegrain Mustard. Mustard flour delivers the intense heat, delicately crushed seeds add texture, bite and earthiness while a blend of carefully chosen herbs and spices bring yet another dimension to the depth of flavour. A spoonful delivers a cheeky kick to coleslaw and perks up quiche no end. Cauliflower cheese positively sighs at its addition, while croutons and celeriac soup, along with roast carrots, are delighted.
