Each October Forman & Field launch their new catalogue for the coming year, packed with a spectacular array of artisan-made British food.

Here is a preview of five NEW products which will be launched in the coming weeks.

Forman & Field have been providing home delivered food for twenty years now (and are part of the 115 year old smoked salmon producer, H.Forman & Son). They specialise in artisan British food, including English wine.

No one is sure what Christmas holds – will large family celebrations be allowed, or even sought? None of us know but Forman & Field have something for everyone – big families and small, friends and colleagues – gifts for them and treats for yourself.

The Ultimate Christmas Care Package

Royal Fillet Tartlet

The multi-award-winning Royal Fillet is the finest cut of Forman’s famous ‘London Cure Smoked Salmon’. Here slices of the Royal Fillet are layered over a broad bean crème fraiche in a tartlet and top with cucumber and caviar. The perfect starter for a special meal to impress. Why dine out?


Homemade Scones with Strawberry Ripple Cream

The perennial tea-time debate – which to dollop on your scones first – the cream or the jam – has finally been sorted. Introducing the new Strawberry-Ripple Cream served in a kilner jar. The cream is a blend of clotted cream and butter cream with vanilla and the jam is homemade too with English strawberries. Comes with four of our handmade light-as-a-feather scones.


Mel-Bagel Toasts

For some time customers had been asking Forman & Field to make Melba Toasts for them – the type you get in smart restaurants – thin slices of dry, buttery, curly bread, as opposed to the uniform supermarket toasty variety.

Given Forman’s love of Bagels and their East London heritage, they decided to make a marriage of Melba Toast and their Brick Lane Bagels (sourced from where Kate & William recently visited) and they now have pleasure in introducing – for your delectation – “Mel-bagel Toasts”.

Beef Wellington

This is not a new product – but a recipe tweak. One of their best sellers, they felt it was time for an upgrade. They’ve added chicken livers, air dried ham and black truffle to their 32 day aged Aberdeen Angus Beef in this kilo-sized masterpiece. Highly recommended with Forman & Field’s Potato Dauphinoise and Petits Legumes (also new this year)
