We’ve all heard of wine-paired dinners, but have you ever heard of a dinner-paired wine tasting?
FishWorks on Swallow Street will be hosting a series of new concept evenings to celebrate lesser talked about wine regions on 23rd June and 7th July, building a bespoke menu to complement the wines, rather than vice versa.
Hosted by Head Sommelier Tim McLaughlin-Green, the series kick off on 23rd June by evoking a traditional trip to the seaside, with an evening dedicated to homegrown Cornish wines as part of English Wine Week. A five-course dinner – with dishes created especially to perfectly pair to the English vintages – will accompany the tasting to offer a true taste of Cornwall.
With Portugal off the green list for now, let FishWorks bring the holiday to you on 7th July, and say olá to perfect Portuguese wines without the quarantine. Celebrate the best the peninsula has to offer, all while diving deep into a 5-course feast of paired dishes. Obrigado!
FishWorks are dedicated to supporting local fish suppliers to ensure that sourcing is as sustainable and local as possible. All FishWorks oysters come from UK shores, with fish selected based on the best catch of the day.
Dinners are priced from £65pp, and include wines for the evening and a five course set menu. Spaces are extremely limited, so book now to avoid disappointment: https://www.fishworks.co.uk/experiences
