Bordeaux White Wine Bar pops up at Flat Iron Square 1st to 5th September

Bordeaux Whites, we hear you say? Mais oui, bien sûr! When it comes to white wines, Bordeaux offers some real gems that are a far-cry from the powerful reds that the region has built its world-famous reputation upon.

Bordeaux white wines are light, refreshing and importantly great value, and Bordeaux Wines are inviting Londoners to come and explore them at their pop-up Bordeaux White Wine Bar in Flat Iron Square near London Bridge from 1st to 5th September.

Everything from dry, structured and fruity dry white blends made from Sauvignon Blanc & Sémillon to zippy single varietal Sauvignon, bright sparkling crémants and sumptuous sweet wines will be available to try by the glass, flight or carafe, giving an overview of what modern Bordeaux is all about.

Take part in a free, fun and informative impromptu speed tasting, run by a Bordeaux wine expert each afternoon from 3.30pm. You’ll taste a crisp sparkling Crémant, a dry white made from Sauvignon Blanc and a luscious sweet wine – and you’ll see just why you should be enjoying Bordeaux’s whites.

Why not make an evening of it and enjoy a glass with street food purchased from one of Flat Iron’s Square’s popular food outlets? From spicy curries to peppery tacos and fresh pastas, Bordeaux’s whites pair beautifully with a wide variety of global cuisines; you’re bound to find a great match.

The Bordeaux White Wine Bar will be at Flat Iron Square near London Bridge, London SE1 1TD from 1st to 5th September. Open afternoons and evenings.
