This multi award-winning Premier Cru Champagne is the perfect addition to any Christmas celebration. It’s produced for Tesco by Union Champagne in Avize, from hand-harvested grapes grown in Premier Cru vineyards in the Côte des Blancs, south of Epernay. Aged for 36 months, this extra maturation results in elegant flavours of citrus, green fruits and brioche with a fine mousse. Perfect as an aperitif or with smoked salmon crostinis.

Tesco Finest Côtes Du Rhône Villages Signargues 14.5% abv, £8.00 (vegan)

This aromatic red wine is from the Côtes du Rhône village of Signargues. Grapes were hand-harvested and earlier than in previous years due to a hotter and drier than usual summer, which produced small, concentrated and extremely ripe berries. It is a rich blend of Syrah and Grenache grapes and combines opulent dark fruit flavours of blackcurrant and cherry with warm notes of spice. Serve with ox cheek stew or your favourite winter casserole.

Tesco Finest Margaux 14% abv, £22.00

Made for Tesco by the prestigious Château Boyd Cantenac in Bordeaux’s iconic Margaux region, using exceptional quality grapes from vines that are an average of 30 years old. It is a bold but well-balanced red that is rich, ripe and vibrant with complex flavours of dark fruits, cherries, spices and oak. Serve alongside beef or vegetarian wellington.

Tesco Finest Côtes de Provence Rosé 12.5% abv, £9.00 (vegan)

Add a touch of sunshine to the winter months with this elegant and refreshing Provence rosé. Carefully sourced from coastal vineyards that spend the year basking in the Mediterranean sun, it boasts delicious stone fruit flavours with notes of fresh strawberries and redcurrants. Tesco Finest Viñas del Rey Albariño 12.5% abv, £9.00Tesco Low Alcohol Sparkling 0.5% abv, £2.75

Boasting the familiar, fruity aromas of Sauvignon Blanc and a touch of fizz, these low-alcohol bubbles make an elegant alternative to sparkling wine during the festive celebrations. Grapes are harvested at night or early in the morning, which helps to preserve their characteristic freshness. Following a traditional alcoholic fermentation, innovative “spinning cone” technology is used to gently remove all but 0.5% of the alcohol. Serve chilled on its own or alongside canapés.
