In celebration of Margarita Day on 22nd February, London’s only agaveria Hacha Bar has partnered with the world’s most awarded mezcal in 2021, The Lost Explorer Mezcal. Hacha founder and agave expert Deano Moncrieffe will treat guests to a truly unique experience guiding them through The Lost Explorer Mezcal’s journey of the Mezcal Margarita with his iconic and award-winning Mirror Margarita.

Guests will enjoy three rare and exclusive Mirror Margaritas, all with different flavour profiles but perfectly balanced and crystal-clear in clarity, as well as specially created canapés. Deano will create the cocktails using each of The Lost Explorer Mezcal’s three expressions, Espadín, Tobalá and Salmiana, which will be accompanied by a sipping experience of each varietal.

The event will be held from 6 pm to 7.30 pm at Hacha Dalston, 378 Kingsland Road, London E8 4AA . Tickets to the event can be purchased from Eventbrite here at a cost of £35.00 per person.

The Curious Margarita – The Lost Explorer Mezcal

45ml The Lost Explorer Espadín Mezcal | 15ml Ancho Reyes Verde | 20ml Agave Syrup | 25ml Lime Juice

Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Strain into a Tajín-rimmed old fashioned glass filled with ice. Garnish with a single jalapeño slice.

The Lost Explorer Espadín Mezcal – made from 100% Espadín agave and has a sweet and herbaceous expression. It is well-balanced with hints of sweet apple, ripe fruits and a mild smokey layer to finish.
