The wine pours a bright ruby colour, and the bouquet has a basketful of fruit aromas, cherry, strawberry, and plum. On the palate there are oak, tobacco, leather, and spice flavours, with a hint of smoke. The wine is light to medium bodied, and very smooth. A plummy finish with slight minerality signs off this very drinkable wine.”

This Burgundy is perfect with pâté, charcuterie, and lots of crusty French bread. Or mild creamy cheeses on the Christmas cheese board are a great match. And roast beef and other red meats are ideal, too.
