Dead Man’s Fingers Flavoured Rums

Peter Morrell reports on three exciting flavoured rums that are great for Christmas and all year round drinking

Dead Man’s Fingers Spiced Rum

Created in Cornwall, Dead Man’s Fingers is a premium Caribbean rum with less sweetness and more punch than other spiced rums. Founded in St Ives’ Rum & Crab Shack, it is one of the most versatile spiced rums on the market, making it suitable for sipping, mixing and as a cocktail base. Available from ASDA, 70cl (£22).

Dead Man’s Fingers Coconut Rum

A recent new addition, this lip-smacking Dead Man’s Fingers Coconut Rum adds a delicious twist to the orignal. A blend of Caribbean rum and spices rounded off with smooth and slighly sweet coconut makes this perfect served neat, over ice or in cocktails. Available from masterofmalt.com, 70cl, (£20.95).

Dead Man’s Fingers Coffee Rum

This coffee expression of Dead Man’s Fingers, from the Rum & Crab Shack in Cornwall, adds a beautiful shot of espresso flavour to the Caribbean rum with its mix of spices such as caramel, vanilla, cinnamon and orange. A beautiful taste combination that will appeal to rum and coffee lovers alike. Available from Amazon, 70cl, (£20).
