This celebrated sparkling wine is produced by the award-winning Hush Heath Estate in Kent, from Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes handharvested in their own estate vineyards. Crisp and elegant, it boasts attractive aromas of apple and bright citrus with a hint of delicate brioche. On the palate it is dry with a delicate mousse and long finish. Perfect for celebrations; serve chilled as an aperitif or with canapés.
Gratien & Meyer Crémant De Loire Rosé NV 12% abv, £12.00
This crisp and elegant sparkling rosé is made from hand-harvested grapes picked in vineyards south of Saumur. Made according to the traditional method, in the same way as Champagne, it has a delicate pink colour and fine, smooth bubbles. Produced from hand-picked grapes, grown in the cool vineyards of northern Spain’s Rías Baixas region, an area famed for its high quality Albariño. Viñalba Reserve Malbec 2019 14.5% abv, £10.00 (vegan)
This rich and inviting Malbec comes from one of Argentina’s most-awarded wineries. The grapes are grown in the Uco Valley in the foothills of the Andes, an area which provides the optimum growing conditions. It is wonderfully complex, with intense aromas of ripe black fruit and hints of smoke. On the palate, its sumptuous blackcurrant and plum flavours combine with toasty vanilla oak to create an elegant and full-bodied wine. Delicious with roast lamb or aubergine parmigiana.
