This September, Scandi spirit brand Nuet Aquavit invites you to the Nuet Smörgåsbar, a retro cabin pop-up at Callooh Callay, Shoreditch
Step inside the secret Scandinavian lodge and prepare to delve into a Nuet (which translates as THE NOW) adventure. This incredible new spirit brand, and the world’s only aquavit ever to win a gin award* is a fun, fresh and brilliant addition to the back bar for mixologists wanting to create something out of the ordinary.
Enter the wardrobe at the back of Callooh Callay to find your way up to the hidden Nuet Smörgåsbar evoking retro Scandi vibes – think vintage skis, sheepskin rugs, fire lanterns, music and even some smells to really create the old cabin feel.
Callooh Callay’s stellar bar team has been experimenting to bring to the table a versatile and unique menu of seven different and equally moreish Nuet serves.
Kicking off on Wednesday 8th September and running to Sunday 12th, bookings can be made through the Callooh Callay website.
Plus, keep an eye out for a special Callooh Callay consumer tasting at 7pm on Thursday 9th September where if you’re quick you can purchase a £5 ticket to the Nuet Smörgåsbar which includes a complimentary cocktail on arrival.
On Sunday 12th September for the final day of the Nuet Smörgåsbar, the renowned bar team from Britannia Hotel in Trondheim, Norway will be dropping in to mix things up once again and treat imbibers to a totally new Nuet menu for one-night-only as they bring their Scandi expertise behind the bar for yet another #NuetMoment in the Nuet Smörgåsbar.
