Tesco Finest the Melodist Mango & Passionfruit Gin – £20.00

I am a great fan of Tesco Finest the Melodist London Dry Gin, you can read the review here… An exciting development is the introduction of its sibling, the Melodist Mango & Passionfruit Gin. This embodies all that is good in the London Dry with the exotic addition of delicious tropical fruit

Bombay Citron Pressé Lemon Gin – £23.00

A creative, natural expression of the original Bombay Dry Gin capturing the bright zest and juice of freshly squeezed Mediterranean lemons.

This is perfectly balanced with the vibrant juniper notes the classic signature Gin.

A real fruits infusion with no added sugar gives a distinct colour and natural flavour.

Bombay Citron Pressé is inspired by the gin cocktail – The Tom Collins.

AU Vodka Pineapple Crush – £32.00

Gold, symbolizing power and perfection represents the exceptional taste of this Au Pineapple Crush.
Five-times distilled vodka has been combined with the finest crushed pineapples to create an exotic taste with a vibrant yellow liquid.

Slane Irish Whiskey – £33.00

By pure chance I recently met Master Distiller Allan Anderson, who designed the Slane Distillery. I’ve tasted a number of whiskies that Allen has crafted, and they have all been excellent, so I was looking forward to this, and was not disappointed. Once the Slane Irish Whiskey has been distilled it is aged in three different types of barrel. One made from virgin oak, which gives the whiskey toasted oak and vanilla flavours, the second is Tennessee oak which has been used to age bourbon, this contributes caramel, plum, banana, and butterscotch flavours. The final type is Oloroso sherry casks giving the taste of raisin and spice.

When the whiskies have aged the Master Distiller blends the three together to create a unique and complex drinking experience.

Tasting the whiskey is a pleasure, it pours a deep amber colour. There are rich caramel, cinnamon, and oak aromas in the bouquet. The flavours evolve and multiply on the palate, dried vine fruit tastes develop together with sweet banana and toffee notes, and more complex spices. The finish is persistent with hints of tropical fruit.

Chivas Regal Extra 13 Year Old Tequila Whisky – £35.00

Introducing the Chivas Extra 13 Tequila Cask. This blended Scotch whisky is already notoriously smooth – but selectively finishing the whisky in tequila casks deepens this element to create a blend that’s extraordinarily palatable. Because blended is better, in life and in Scotch.

Our remarkable Extra 13 Tequila Cask features artwork by renowned street artist Greg Gossel. The artwork is a colourful blend of our Chivas Regal heritage with footage of the 13 King Street Emporium together with traditional Mexican craft. Vibrant Aztec patterns and iconic Día de los Muertos skulls – adorned with shades of reds and greens to represent the Mexican flag – intertwine together in this unique tribute.

Tasting Notes: On the nose, vanilla sweetness is lifted with a hint of zingy citrus. On the palate is a delicate medley with light and fruity vanilla notes, laced with refreshing grapefruit and exotic pineapple. The finish is extra smooth and rounded.

Mermaid Pink Gin – £37.00 (not yet available online)

Hand-crafted using ten ethically sourced botanicals. Mermaid pink gin infuses the flavour and aromatics of island strawberries with the smooth yet complex taste of our award-winning gin, a blend of lemon zest, grains of paradise and fragrant rock samphire.

Our rock samphire, foraged from the Island’s shores, is locally known as ‘Mermaid’s Kiss’, as it grows just above the sea’s high-tide line.
