Peter Morrell, editor, comments, “I have tasted this wine, and it seems to reflect the rich history of where it is produced, it’s mature with great depth of character. The wine pours a bright, straw yellow colour. In the bouquet there are intense wildflower aromas, combined with peaches, floral honey, and a background of hedgerow nuts. On the palate it has a pleasant buttery mouthfeel, with both tropical and citrus notes emerging. There is a steely minerality which gives it a crispness that makes it an ideal match with seafood and summer salads. The finish is bright, dry and uplifting.”
